Isaac Te Awa (Ngāpuhi, Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Waitaha) is curator mātauranga Māori at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

He is an active practitioner and researcher of Māori weaving and carving, with a special interest in the revival and documentation of traditional knowledges, techniques, and their practice.
